So I hope this site doesn't come across preachy, it's as much for me as it is for anyone else. It's not just a collection of the resources that have helped me, it's also my to do list and my reading list. Learning in the face of propaganda is an act of revolution, so let's get to it.

First things first, when you know better, you do better. So I'm getting caught up on everything they forgot to mention in school. I am questioning everything, because propaganda comes from everywhere. Somehow they failed to teach us anything about this in school, so I'm starting from the absolute basic information about Palestine's history.

Okay, so you've learned what's going on and now you're angry and depressed and hopeless. Don't let those feelings defeat you, channel them into action. As people complicit in this genocide, we have power. We just have to use it. The goal? Permanent ceasefire now, and the end of Israeli occupation.

Lately I have found myself in situations where I have to decide between things that benefit my life personally, but come at the expense of my values, specifically regarding my strong opposition to the ongoing genocide in Palestine. I had a conversation with the universe through my cards, and every piece of it was important to me, but none more so than the Hierophant reversed, which jumped out before I had even started drawing cards. It reminded me that I cannot count on others for guidance because the people I would have asked in the past, the people I used to look up to, do not share the same set of values, so the choices they could live with are not the same as mine. In this moment we all must put revolution higher than our own personal gain. It is urgent work that demands our attention.

The places that I look for guidance and wisdom are not the same as they were throughout most of my life. I am trusting my instincts and my conscience, and believing that if something feels wrong, it is wrong. But beyond trusting myself, I am learning to look to other sources of knowledge. Clearly the western world has not taught us what the truth is, and I understand now that we must find new role models to look up to, new teachers to learn from, and new ways of living that break the capitalist, oppressive mold.
As much as this hierophant reversed card inspired me to look to myself for guidance, it reminded me to learn new lessons, follow new teachers, find new Hierophants to learn from. I called this collection Hierophant Reversed because I am trusting intuition to challenge the status quo. But I drew the logo as a Hierophant that I can look up to, learn from, and follow because this entire website is about learning through the expertise of others who know so much more than I do about this. I am the Hierophant Reversed, but the revolution, the fight to free Palestine, the call for a ceasefire now, is my new Hierophant.
